At the service of Justice...
Advocates assist the courts in a legal frame work to arrive at justice... This great profession too is at the clutches of greedy and profit making individuals with scant regard for professional ethics and concern for and commitment towards their clients...
The client is the reason for their very existence... It is him the above mentioned categories of advocates exploit in money terms as well as time factor... We must be honest and loyal to those poor men and women who approach us with heavy heat and rather empty pockets for just and timely redressal...
Doing justice to one's client need not necessarily mean doing injustice to the other party... Also, we are expected to help the bench to arrive at justice without delay... We must also do justice to the amount given to us by way of fees and other means...
The loosing credibility needs to restored and we should be championing social justice to create a vibrant, responsible and transparent democracy... Judiciary being one of the four pillars/estates of our democracy, our service becomes so necessary for the bench to arrive at just and humane verdicts...
Let us also be accountable and transparent within the given system and help judiciary to be effective and efficient in the cause of justice... In a democracy like ours where the great majority is rather illiterate and poor, they depend much on this great institution. There we are important elements as court officers to assist the bench arrive at just decisions.
